Acceptable Use: You agree to use TurtleWave Chat lawfully and responsibly. Illegal, abusive, harmful, or disruptive content is prohibited.
User Responsibility: Users are responsible for the messages, media, and other content they send. You should not share information that you do not want other people to see.
Public Chat and Group Chats: TurtleWave Chat includes a public chat channel and group chats. Messages sent in the public chat channel may be visible to all users. Messages sent in group chats may be visible to members of that group chat.
Anonymity: TurtleWave Chat is anonymous by default. Users are not required to make their Inbox Code (the temporary username created during each session) visible to other users or provide personal information to use the service. Inbox Codes are not intended to identify users.
Moderation: We may remove content or restrict access to TurtleWave Chat if users violate these Terms of Service or misuse the platform.
Service Availability: We do not guarantee that TurtleWave Chat will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We are not responsible for issues caused by downtime, maintenance, technical problems, or factors outside our control.
Changes to Terms: These Terms of Service may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of TurtleWave Chat after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Privacy Policy
Information We Collect: TurtleWave Chat stores information necessary to provide chat functionality, including messages sent through the service. Additional technical information may be collected by third-party services used by the website, such as analytics providers.
Message Retention: Messages are stored temporarily. Messages older than approximately 30 seconds are cleared as new messages are received. Users may request manual deletion of their messages.
Anonymity: TurtleWave Chat is anonymous by default. No account or personal information is required to participate. However, any information you choose to share in messages may be visible to other users.
Public Visibility: Messages sent in the public chat channel are visible to everyone using that channel. Messages sent in group chats are visible to members of that group chat.
Data Usage: Stored messages are used only to provide chat functionality, maintain the service, and improve reliability. We do not sell or share your messages for advertising purposes.
Security: We use reasonable measures to protect stored messages from unauthorized access. However, no online service can guarantee complete security. TurtleWave Chat is not intended for sharing sensitive personal information. Users are responsible for choosing what information they share and should avoid sending passwords, addresses, phone numbers, personal emails, or other private information through the chat.
